**Cash/check payments are refunded and credit card transactions are credited to the original account within 30 days of receiving the merchandise back in new condition. Bicycles and bicycle componentry not returned in new like condition will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Bicycles and bicycle componentry returned in a fashion deemed by Slingshot as un-resellable or severly abused are subject to no refund to the customer and the product will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense. Frame purchases are limited to refund of product cost only and are not eligible refund of shipping costs. The cost of transportation to and from the manufacturer for repair or replacement of the frame is not covered by the warranty.
Slingshot Bicycle Company Limited Warranty
Slingshot Bicycle Company warrants each new Slingshot Bicycle Frame against defects in workmanship and materials for two years from the original date of purchase. All original parts, including suspension forks, shall be covered under the stated warranty of their manufacturers. Paint and decals are warranted for one year. The warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective frame and is the sole remedy of the warranty. The warranty applies only to the original owner.
Warranty claims are to be made directly to the manufacturer. Proof of purchase is required.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper assembly or follow up maintenance or installation of parts or accessories not originally intended or compatible with the bicycle as sold.
The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to accident, abuse or neglect.
Slingshot Bicycle Company shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages. Labor charges for parts changeovers or the individual costs incurred by the owner are not covered by the warranty. The user assumes the risk of any personal injury or damage to the bicycle or other losses if the bicycle is used at any time for stunt riding, dirt biking or similar activities, power or motor assist of any kind, competitive riding, or anything other than normal use.
